Welcome to my page!

I am a Full Spectrum Gestational and Gender Euphoria Care Worker (doula essentially). This for me is pregnancy, labor and delivery, abortion/grief/loss, and postpartum care work with pregnant people; and gender affirming care work with queer/trans/gnc folk under going general affirming surgery. Given the roots of the word “doula” I am currently thinking about better ways to accurately describe what I do.

Current Offerings Mission, Vision and Boundaries

These are my current offerings. Given the time of year and amount of clients I take on this may change.

  • Pregnancy, Labor and Birth

  • Postpartum Support

  • Abortion Support

  • Grief and Loss Support

  • Gender Euphoria

  • General Support Navigating the Medical Industrial Complex

  • Support Locations (Birth Center or Hospital):
    As far North as Skokie/Evanston
Out West to Little Village, Oak Park, Back of the Yards
    Out South to Hyde Park

My folk:

The people that I center in my support are Black and brown folks, queer trans and GNC folks, disabled folks and poor and disabled folks. Any person with one or more of these identities gets priority. Period

My Personal Boundaries:

I do not accept any client who will not use my correct pronouns they/them. Care work, does not mean the support person foregoes their dignity in any way.

I will only consider accepting white clients if you are explicitly anti-racist

The Story :)

I originally wanted to be a neonatologist. I was so excited to start my career. However, college level science courses proved to not be in my favor. I met my first doula in a class in the major I switched to after dropping pre-med. I reflected for 2 years and researched for 1 before deciding to get trained. I’ve now been a doula for 5 years. I take my role in my community very seriously. I’ve supported folks all over the city of Chicago from Illinois Masonic, to Prentice, to Stroger, to Swedish to PCP. I have not supported folks at home or at a Birth Center but am certainly available to do so. I am most serious about being a Trauma Informed practitioner. I believe in the pregnant person’s right to learn/know about their bodies during every part of their journey. I believe in being an additional presence to insuring all of my clients experience informed and continuous
